  • New Dash Bezel Fab Problem

    Hey guys,

I am making a new dash bezel so I can fit in the Xenarc and my a/c controls. But I have run into a slight problem. The stock bezel is pushed into the dash with push in clips, so it stays in place. I don't know how to hold the new one in place? I can't take the clips off the old bezel because they are plastic ones that are molded in. Any ideas on where to get push in clips, or other ways to hold it in place? Thanks.

what kind of vehicle? i think you can get clips for certain vehicles at places like autozone. If its a GMC they are easy to get, my friend had a Sierra and needed some extras.

I would suggest making the new dash bezel over the old one so that everything still lines up and you've still got the clips on.

Just cut and use epoxy bondo or whatever to mold your screen into the existing dash piece. No need to start totally from scratch.
