  • Does anyone have pictures of large LCDs fabricated to fit in small cars?

    Hey everyone,

I had a 93 Honda Del Sol, with plans of mounting a 10.4" touchscreen for my car computer. I now drive a 95 Eagle Talon (TSi AWD). The Honda was smaller, yet it seemed that it would be easier to mold a large touchscreen into the dash. I have the same plans for my Talon, but I am having trouble figuring out how to keep the lines of the dash and make it look decent. I will be picking up a spare dashboard from a junkyard and doing all of the work outside of the car. My interior will pretty much revolve around the computer... and I know it will take a lot of work to get looking good. So, anyone have pics of a 10" or so LCD in a normal size car? Thanks

Use your imagination. Cut a piece of cardboard to the size and put it against the dash. How does that look?
You will be better off with 7" LCD. 10.4" is maybe too big for that car.
