  • reaction to bondo dust?

i was dremeling away at my modded trim peice last week and a couple days later out of the blue, i wake up with a dull pain in my tonsils, since then, it's turned into a major head pressure, ear infection, headachey sickness. the pain and pressure moved from one side of my head, to the top, then to the back which is where it is now. anyone ever experienced anything similar after breathing bondo dust?

When in doubt, wear a mask. When not in doubt, wear a mask too.
When not wearing a mask, wear a mask. When wearing a mask, keep it on.

I've sanded bondo a lot without a mask on and haven't had any problems.

                    One word: CANCER!

wear a respirator when doing a lot or work outside.

(and no i am not saying you have cancer - probably more like you are just run down and dehydrated from working too hard on your carPC )

yeah he's fine ... he just twitches every once in a while ...

a lot of people here will say they didn't/don't wear a mask 100% of the time while working with bondo and they're fine (including me) ... but people will say the same about smoking ... "My grandpa smoked for 55 years and he didn't get cancer!" ...

but does any of this mean it's not bad for you? of course not ... should you wear a mask? of course.
