That looks sweet. The trunk setup, in my opinion, it's an excellent choice. I've heard that combination before, and it absolutly blasts!!! Did you see the sticky in the Fabrication forum for a BMW bezel?

your going to need to chop the top and bottom of the lili's plastic case to get it to fix in a way that is factory looking... I chopped my xenarcs case right down to the actual LCD panel on the top an bottom, and was able to fit a DVD drive...

          check it out...
          http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...threadid=48614

I started with the same DIN adapter, similar to the way you did...
I built a wood frame to recess the screen so I could lower it 2mm to make room for the DVD, since the e46 opening is shorter than the lcd panel and dvd... It actually ended up at the perfect angle for the driver and to block sunlight/glare...

yep, I use the RR (road runner) modified i-bus software, works great, I couldnt do without it... I found myself hitting the buttons on the wheel before I installed the i-bus, and it bugged me to death that it didnt work... you just kinda expect it...

              just search "RR i-bus"

Most harddrives can take non-operating shock of 300g's. When operating, many can take upwards of 40g's.

If anything in your car ever experiences 40g's of force, you got more issues to worry about than your harddrive crashing.
