I wanted to get that ac panel out of there. SO far I have come up short on figuring out how ot interface it and haveit controlled by the touchscreen. My other option is to extend the all wires to the ac panel and stash it in the center console, maybe mount it somehow, then of course ill be going into the centerl console verytime im going to mess with the ac,

then of course I could do motorized flip up, but I rather have the fullsized display.

I'd say to remove the stock radio. Put the a/c controls and all that good stuff on the lower part. If you are looking for a full out computer, put a screen there at an angle so it's not sitting in there flat because I believe that dash is lower than a person's shoulders when you sit in it and it's perpendicular to the floor? (for your viewing pleasure). Take out that clock and find something useful for the spot. Locate your computer lower in dash maybe?

        re

ok so that makes sense, Ill take out the stock radio and put a mac mini in thre with a nice eq or some switches, then Ill take out the clock and have my display basemounted not flush in dash. This gives for easier viewing while driving, but also isnt as clean, and then its right under the sun and might require a hod for viweing, best advice ive recieveed so far though , thanks a lot, I think that might be a way for me to go,

I say relocate you should lose the head unit, and put the LCS where the AC unit is, by relocating it below the screen. Easiest, and best looking way.

I'm not sure if that was sarcasm but obviously a hood would be needed I forgot to inquire that. You can make an extended monitor with an angle look clean so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Obviously it wouldn't be OEM. I'm prefer screens that are better for the person and the looks are just a side product. Anyway, you could potentially attach motors to angle it. That would be creative. I've done a few dashes with motors that flip the screen open to display it's pretty neat; not quite sure it it'd work for yours.

Yeah that would be a problem. Maybe you could just move your ac somewhere out of the way by chance. I'm looking for a way to make mine smaller since I'm working with my dash anyway.I like it better at 4 windows down + sunroof open cruising around 60mph XD.
