  • Finally got back in!!!! Have news.

Ok so between having H1N1, working on 4 different projects and getting rid of the anti-MP3CAR virus somebody gave me I'm back. I wanted to let everyone know that one of my projects is finally done and running. I have been working on an e-commerce site for electronics for quite a few months now and it is finally launched. You can check it out at www.dreamgadgetshop.com and let me know what you think. I would really like any feedback as far as if there are any products you guys think I should carry or any other ideas. No I am not selling any car pc's since I have too many friends that make a living selling those online and I don't want to compete with them. Also I am adding about 200 products a week so if there is anything you guys are looking for just call or email me off the site and I can usually have it added to the site within 15min. of getting the message.

As far as the other projects........"TOP SECRET"..........LOL.

Too many people troll my name on google to try and find out what I am up to so I will let you guys know when I am done.

    Later
Google my name if you need to know who I am.

Man I hate to be "this guy"... but that site looks CHEAP!! I think you need some graphic designers. I don't know about other people, but shopping on a site like that is a big no-no for me. Get a more professional look, and I think you've got it made. Other than that, the site looks good, pretty well laid out, easy to find prices (which is a HUGE deal for me), and a wide assortment of gadgets.

EDIT: The logo on the yahoo checkout page is WAAAAAAAY too big man, whew...

HTML? Dude, no, I wouldn't buy from there, sorry. You should look into an OSCommerce install for your site. It has an administrative backend that runs all your reports, automated invoicing, automated packing slips, quarterly billing, customer lists, inventory, it runs it all. And it looks way better than that site with their templates you can add on. I run a business doing open source installs for people, if you want I can set you up with a base install for like $300.

That's a bit like Tidd's and Justchat1 describing Cabe' latest date as bit of a minger and you saying that you've dated worse.

Can you add to your store one round LCD display, like the one on the new Caddy SRX? It's so cool.
Mentioned here, it's from Toshiba, apparently:

WOW! Wasn't expecting all the negative feedback. I refuse to use any designers since this is my third company site I have had in my life and I spent $5000 on the last one with a designer and I found them to be pretty lazy and impossible to reach. That's why I did this one myself with no help so if I need something changed or added I can do it without having to ask anybody. I plan on alot of graphical changes but that wont be until the beginning of the year and I had customers wanting things for Christmas so I had to get it launched. Anyway it is what it is and all it cost me was time so I am happy with it.

I will check on the round lcd.......looks interesting.

How about I get it done first and you pay me after if you're satisfied? That way if it takes forever you lose nothing. Mainly because I know it won't take more than 2 days.

Looking at your site, and your experience I don't blame you for doing it yourself, and I believe you can. Just a few suggestions. The lay out is simple, please keep it that way no matter how big the site gets. The logo and script you are using is great, though look at the 'G' in your Logo, the vertical bar needs to go.
I spent 10 years working for my dads print shop as a graphics artist, please read the links I've included. Color is maker or breaker in anything business related. Orange and black ,only tigers can wear those colors right.

Ok you can bust on my new install as soon as I start and get it posted(please do)......I'm not as experienced in fabrication and 12v entertainment as you are.
