  • Died and gone to heaven...AKA...Let me get this straight...

    So...

Here I am be-bopping around on the internet typing things like "poor cd quality"..."MP3 track skipping"..."my car stereo sucks!!!"

And I stumble across this place.

I have an in-dash MP3 player in my rig that just flat out blows...

I've tried every kind of CDR made to get a decent quality without a lot of skipping...disk read errors...and funny little noises during the playback that have made me give up drinking altogether as I'm afraid I will have the police called to my house for domestic violence against an inantimate object.

The I stumble across this place...

    So...let me get this straight...

You guys are hooking up portable computers to your rigs...???

    With homemade LCD touchscreen set-ups...???

    Cooooooool...!!!

I'm putty in your hands...show me the way...

    I already have...

An elitegroups 1ghz laptop with 512 megs of ram...and a hot swappable usb bay for hard drives.

    What do I do next...???

Nope, nothing portable about our computers.. I have a full P200 system with external sound, graphics, network, and FM tuner card full size tower case.. full size HD and CDrom, as well as a rather large 10.4inch LCD..

hmm I have plenty of photos but I really haven't gotten around to posting any of them or detailing my process at all..

I'll get cracking on that since things are slow here at work.
