You should wire one for spell check.

    Xenarc 700TSV - VGA Monitor

You should get a switch to not be a jerk.

Anyway, for the OP, a mobo switch doesn't need to be anything more than a push button switch, normally open. Just attach it to your mobo.

For an amp just putting a switch between the remote line should work.

fc3s is correct, but maheriano was pretty funny. what kind of switches were you thinking of? adding switches; imho, detracts from a seamless installation. If i were you i'd hide them if you really needed to have the switches. another alternative to switches is fusionbrain, it would be a great gadget to incorperate to control everything you needed/wanted to have a switch besides the mobo reset switch. That would leave you with only one physical switch that you could easily hide.

you would connect the amp or whatever you want to use to the fusion brain (not sure if it could control them directly, you may need relays), basically the brain will turn on a relay, which allows power to go to whatever unit

its a good idea, more than good enough for the sounds of what you want to do, and i've never seen anything in the same price range that can do anynthing close to what the brain can

the FB can be used as a remote directly. It can provide up to 500mA of current at the input voltage (probably 13.8v with the car on). That is more than enough for most amps. And that is 500mA per output.

And as a plus, it will give you 100% no thump.

well here is what i basically need i have 3 amps, i just want to control the remote turn on so i can turn on/off the amp anytime. and then also control the interior neons, my question is how would i use the fusion brain to connect them and also to control other function as describes in the thread

It is really simple. Just attach a relay to the output pins, and voila a software controlled switched.

how would i wire this to the amps, and is this the same relay i use to connect to door locks, window control, neon etc and is there a general wiring for this relay or does it depend on what function you are wiring thanks

Yes it is "one relay to rule them all" sort of deal.
