You could always by a small keyboard..... kinda like the wireless PS3 keyboard. Doesnt have all the keys like a keyboard, but if you download Hotkey... you can program one of the function keys to open up task manager..... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1172277234064.

If you have a friend that works at best buy, have them buy it for you. That way you can get the keyboard for $15.32, rather then paying 29.99.

Just another thought, is it possible to make a floating (always on top) icon, similarly to that of lilliput/xenarc right click shortcut, that links to the task manager?
Or hold touchscreen for 5 seconds to bring up task manager?

I know you said you don't want a keyboard - and it's not cheap - but this works quite well for me:

Ok, I just programmed an application to do this for you.

Right now it's just simple and ugly. Tell me any modifications you want made to it.

It has two buttons. One will launch task manager. The other one will give you an input box and in there, you enter an application which is running and it will kill it. And as I was just typing this, I realized that your system doesn't have a keyboard. So I guess, if you want to we can make a button specifically close the application you want to.

Just let me know if you want more on this tool bar. I can launch any exe on your system and I can kill any exe that is running.

The application is zipped and attached.

Search for alttabber by XBrady. I think it can do any keystroke and it is a floating icon that can be resized and moved.

Alright, what fixeroftallthing just posted is a significantly better option than my quick little program.

For anyone who might be interested in my app, it's written in visual basic 6 and if you want the source code, just ask. If I were you though, I would go with what he just posted.

LOL. Thanks for putting your app together, Paul. The one posted is pretty nifty as you say. I have been around for years and didn't know that existed.
