  • Joystick on Buy.com

    Hey everyone,

I found this on buy.com today and thought it would make a great alternative to the Belkin unit. Personally it reminds me more of the iDrive from BMW. The company also has the SDK on their site so hopefully it can be tuned to work with the various Frontend OS's.

    What do you think?

*p.s. This is my first post so please don't think I am spamming. Just excited to contribute.

Last month I received this SpaceNavigator you mentioned, it's on sale at that time

It's a solid unit, hefty and feels well-built. The supplied software (including driver's for a bunch of applications and a handful of demo's) installed easily and everything worked fine with Google Earth and Sketchup.

Sorry guys, should have researched this a little more. Looks like a few people on here already have this product. Does anyone have a list of what front ends will work with it?

Ha, I was being a little sarcastic. In all seriousness though, why not just get one now and keep the light off till someone figures out how to hack it.

I just went ahead and ordered one along with a LCD panel so hopefully I can get this old Alienware Laptop working again and start the fun.
