  • Fuzzy GM965 and M2-ATX will not go into standby....

I have the M2-ATX hooked up to my GM965 and it will not go into standy in windows. When the ignition is disconnected windows looks like it is starting to go into standby then the pc turns off completly and will not boot back up.

    - I have the J8 switch from the M2-ATX hooked to the power switch pins 6(+) and 8(-) on the motherboard.

    - In Power Options Properties I have "Power Buttons" set to "Stand by"

I know the M2-ATX works.. I have tested it on another mobo.

Is there some bios setting I am missing?

All I can think is to make sure you have your video drivers installed correctly.

The ACPI settings in the BIOS need to be set correctly. Make sure it is set to S1 & S3 and Let OS choose.
