  • Building Central Locking Interface

My girlfriends car has a cheap alarm fitted to it (badly, so I refittted it) which has an engine imobilisor. It's 3 in parts, or 30 retail to buy. They do a central locking interface which connects to the existing car wiring for 40, but obviously Im loathed to buy it.

I was wondering if anyone knows of some circuits for interfacing central locking to an alrm output. I have a crude idea so far based on relay's which should be adapted for logic really. But is there something better that's been done before?

Do a search for "remote" and my name. A circuit will come up.
