Have you got any other PCMCIA cards liie a modem or ethernet?
Im much more willing to trust realy world experiements than the fluff written on the product box Since they adhear to the PCMCIA interface standard, nothing bad would happen to them. What chips are on the adapter board?

I was thinking that they should work with any cards, because they adhere to the PCMCIA and PCI standards. Has anyone experimented with this?

I have verified that the Belkin adapters only work with the Belkin PCMCIA cards.

This is really distressing. I had a link to an online retailer with a generic PCI - PCMCIA adapter thet was $11... and now it's nowhere to be found.
