  • Use both PC sound output AND stock stereo?

I'm going to install a CarPC in a car, as well as aftermarket speakers and amps, but I want to keep the stock HU to reduce theft interest and provide a secondary way to play music. Is this possible? How would I wire it up? Would having 2 inputs to the amps cause problems?

easiest way mate would be to connect it up as aux on the HU. i know with my alpine the ai-net allows a rca input ( but it would mean losing the changer unless i candind the switch) also used to use this when the ps2 was installed.
    Prob 60% complete

Yes. As stated above, you would just run the PC's audio into the AUX input for the headunit.

You wouldn't have two inputs to the amp(s). The only signal going to the amp(s) would come from the headunit.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
      How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
