None of the websites that carry such things don't seem to have it yet, however, expect around $400 for the board.

Probably a little less than that. My Core 2 Duo 3.5" board was less than 400 so I would imagine that this would be cheaper than the Core 2 board, as Intel charges less for the chipset components.

Cost of boards like these tend not to be directly tied to component prices. I'm pessimistic on prices of boards yet to be released, too many times the boards I want end up being in the $400 range. Also, did the board you get come with processor? I'm betting the only way to get one is to buy it with processor.

Ah good point. Mine didn't come with the CPU.

^^ That Pico is even smaller than this 3.5" board.

yikes.... I like small but that is a lot of cash

Certainly small options exist without going over $400, this is what I use:
Intel D201GLY2A Little Valley with 1.33 GHz Celeron Processor (Fan Cooled)
store price = $75 plus shipping for a board that is 6.75 inches (171.45 mm) square
                      TruckinMP3
                      D201GLY2, DC-DC power, 3.5 inch SATA

Yes, you should search... and Yes, It has been covered before!

                      Read the FAQ!

You know I said the same thing. But I had a project in mind. Build a custom 7" LCD box that will only have the LCD and that board and some sort of a rechargle battery pack. Then on the dash create a slot where it can be docked and undocked..while docked it can charge and work as a carputer... .... lot of work but hey isn't what this forum is about...

Don't get me wrong, small low power is cool and all. Just saying for a bunch less money I was able to completely hide my system. Sure that is what I wanted.

If you are after a really small system (like this one) then enjoy. The lower power simplifies the PS choices as well. If money was not an issue I would be more interested.... it is all about trade offs for me.

                          Cheers
