  • Power Inverter questions!

I have a 100 watt inverter that currently is powering a powered VGA splitter. I want to add two 7 port hubs that I want to also power on the inverter. The MoBo is very picky and doesnt allow me to power anything off the 5V rail. So I wanted to use the wall adapters that came with the hubs. Is it possible I can power the VGA splitter, and both hubs off the one 100 watt inverter? How can I test?

Here are the output stats on the inverter:

    12 VDC at 10 amps
    USB 5 VDC @ 1 amp

    The plug adapters are:

    Hub 1: 5 V at 1 amp
    Hub 2: 5 V at 1 amp
    Splitter: 9 V at 2 amps

So technically I would be using 19 V at 4 amps, so I will be overloading the inverter?

LOL, I decided to leave the inverter alone and have it continue to power the VGA Splitter and PPC. I have a second inverter that is also a 100 watt inverter, I was going to use the USB port for Hub 1 and the plug with the hub wall adapter to power the other.
