  • Computer I found that could work as a CarPC

    http://gizmodo.com/394563/asus-eee-b...specs-only-300

Asus Released a small pc that uses a trifle amount of wattage, however I'm a noob at this and I don't know what all I would have to get to power this baby. I really like that it has built in Wireless N and it's really small size, somebody please point me in the right direction.

Power is 19vdc. A Carnetix P1900 or P2140 will power this unit nicely.
EEE boxes have been discussed at length on these forums. You should do some searching & reading.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Sorry I'm new to this all. I'll be sure to do that next time, thanks for the answers.

I'm really thinking about getting one of these just for testing. I wonder what the boot times are for hibernation?

What power supply would work to make this thing turn on/off with the turn of the key?

From what i'm looking at the Carnetix regulators seem to be able to power on when the key is turned. Somebody in another thread told me both the P1900 and the P2140 would work.
