  • Looking to upgrade my M1000

I'm been running a Via EPIA M10000 for over 4 years now, so I'm looking for an upgrade. I have an original Xenarc 700TSV that is currently running at 800x600.

    Here are my requirements:
    1) Board has to be mini-itx or smaller since it will live in my glovebox.
    2) Has to be capable of sharing a 150W Opus with my Xenarc and Sound Blaster Extigy
    3) Preferably has on-board video that I will be able to use to lock my Xenarc at 800x480

Just replace the M10000 with a more powerful miniITX board like an MSI Fuzzy or an Intel Little Valley.
Reinstall your OS & applications and you're good to go.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

      I'm looking at a Kontron 886.

It looks like a custom driver is available for 800x480, but I haven't dug up much more than that. However, I haven't uncovered conclusive evidence that any other onboard graphics chipsets with other mini-itx boards work with 800x480 out-of-the-box or without significant fiddling.
