Just thought I would throw this in as I have wondered about it occasionally..

How could you hook up an XM Radio to the carputer system that has no radio Headunit? I dont' know much about XM, but I like the idea of having any kind of music at my fingertips.. even though that is the main thing about the carputer, but there's still lots of songs out there that I havn't downloaded!

    Just wondering.. any thoughts?

xm has a standard mini-headphone type jack. connect to the audio -input of the carputer directly and enjoy !!

Yeah but.. hmm what does it look like? Is it like a cd player, goes into the dash??? or is it a set-top like box?

There are a few different ones out there. Check out Google. It's bound to turn up a few pics.

        Crutchfield.com also generally has pics.

search xm and you can go to the delphi skyfi prompt - awesome - 9.95/mo and has a dock for home and car - this is the one with the mini jack that hooks up to your carputer.

ps - best buy has everything for these - best price, too.
