  • Best USB Radio reciever?

I've recently brought the 'Build Your Own Car Pc' book by Gavin D.J. Harper and he says to use the RadioShark from griffin?

Is there anything better? or is this considered good?

Just did a little more research, would Visteon HD Radio be classed as the best?

Just had more of a look... is Visteon HD Radio like another headunit? or can this be hooked into a CarPc with software?

      Keep researching...
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
      How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I have a Directed Electronics HD radio (shares the same design with Visteon) hooked up to the computer using Mitch's serial cable. Audio is fed into the line-in jack on the sound card. Very good results.

The mp3car store sells Boomzbox HD radio that is similar, but with USB control. Audio is transferred over USB as well.

There are satellite radio solutions that work in a similar way. Have a look at Mitch's site: http://www.rush2112.net
