  • Odd Switch question

For a project not related to cars I find a need for a switch that is Momentary on or on/off toggle in the same switch....

I am thinking of a toggle style with center off,"up" is on, down in Momentary on (gotta hold it to activate the circut)

This would be for a low current 12 volt application

Any ideas what this would be called so I can search for it, or can you point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

Ive seen these listed in various electronics catalogues in the past as: ON-OFF-(ON)
I cant see you having a problem finding one, they are going to be a common part.

I have found a wide selection from a dollar and change to 40 a switch....

I did not know google would ignore a "(" I did know it would ignore a "-" the result is searching for
        "ON-OFF-(ON)"
        is the same as

        "ON OFF ON"

Meaning the search results included switches that are
        ON OFF
        ON OFF ON and
ON OFF (ON) ----- what I really wanted. Nice Thanks for the help.

That's nice, I am after 10 or so.... I think I will buy them rather than find 10 blenders.
