  • Lcd mounting

Well, my mp3/vorbis box project is for the most part complete. I finally mounted my 20x4 lcd (very crudely, I might add, and I'd like to do a better job). I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or see a spot that I seem to be missing that my lcd would mount better. The ash tray drawer is not an option as the lcd won't fit. I'm only keeping this Bronco for another year or so, so I don't want to cut into the dash. I probably won't end up moving the lcd, but I'm just getting opinions here. That potentiometer is for the contrast...

my complete project can be seen here @ http://phillip.darktech.org/mp3box/mp3box.htm

The viewing angle is somewhat a factor.

On your page it shows a picture with your ashtray out. You could mount the LCD in that so its a hideaway thing. I think that would look pretty cool.
