  • discharge bang from the woofer

    Hello, I have the following problem with the PC in my car: when I power or shutdown the system it occurs a loud deep bang only from the woofer.

    It's an VIA Epia 9000 MB inside and the onboard-soundcard is adjusted to 5.1 output (original VIA-driver). The jacks are directly connected to the amplifier (woofer amplifier: NEXT Q22).
    I don't believe it's a ground-problem (tested) also I made a test with my home-stereo system -> no bang.

    What's the reason for that bang and how can I eliminate it?

    Thanks.

    Turn your amps off before shutting down, maybe?

      Hey that's dissatisfying because car computing means automation for me and so I would go some steps back.
      What is the difference between HomeHifi and CarHifi amplifiers?
