  • PCMCIA -> ISA

    Okay, here's a challenge for all of you wizards out there. I need a piece of hardware (plus DOS drivers, if needed) that will let me use an ISA card in a computer with only PCMCIA expansion. This is a tough one -- I've searched all day and found only one, for US$1550.00, which is ridiculous. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.

    JupiterX,
    I was looking for the exact same animal not
    too long ago. Besides the $1500 ones (seem
    to be made for dialasys (sp?) machines?)
    I only found one. It was a box that could hold from 1 to four isa cards. IIRC, it cost about $100 for the one card model. I think it
    also required AC power too. Alas, I have given up my laptop solution and I seem to have lost the link. If I find it, I'll let you know.

      Well, I'm glad to know that such a thing exists, at least. Please, please let me know if you find the link. Thanks.
