  • Super small PC barebone system... your views?

Hi, I'm new to this, but a week ago I found this PC case/system... and thought it would make a brilliant AutoPC...

    here it is

I know its spec is nothing amazing, however I can still get the full works in it (hopefully).
And most important, I could make a docking port or two for it. So you don't have to wrorrie about it getting stolen, just unclip it and take it with you...

It could also be used in your house if it is easily removed/replaced... I may even make a snazzy carrie case for it...

There is a version with a differnt faceplate if the current one looks a bit tacky...

Looks fine to me (But I am no Expert)

What is the cost of this Unit, could see a price on the page. Looking into what system to get for my project at the moment. This 'may' be what I am looking for as well.

Will be keeping an eye on this tread...

    Regards

I don't know what I did wrong? I don't have time to do a detailed search...

All I know is that it DOES NOT fit into a normal stereo bay...
But I do not want to put it there, I will prob put it under the glove box for now...

        (I havn't bought anything yet!)

        What else am I missing.

Here's some advice: You may want to reconsider starting a Car PC project, as it is a pretty time consuming project.

The advice may seem obnoxious, but in the end it will save you a lot of frustration.

Lol.... As I said, IF I make this, I want it HOT swappable... Kinda...

So it will make a good desk PC for me/my bro/my mum... if the CAR PC project fails...

So no loss either way. I may also sell it on after I get an upgrade.

Its more of a mini-pc project, with the possibility of going in the car.
I already have my bros game cube screen to do tests. If the tests work, all I need is some power adapters/mounts and a remote.

It would also make a snazy travel PC.... not that I do much travelling
