  • Custom LCD Housing

I want to set my carputer's LCD ontop of the dash board. On my subaru there is a small pocket which is ment to house a performance gauge unit but I do not own the gauge unit. I want to create some sort of housing which would look like part of the car's interior. Where would I go for something like this? I'm pretty sure I'd need someone to fabricate it for me, or if anyone has done something like this, how did you create the housing? Thanks.

How's this for a tease? This is an authentic JDM Impreza GPS Nav Housing. I can get it shipped to your door in the US for 1250 including the GPS unit. No FHI will not sell the housing alone without the LCD.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway

Does this unit have auxilary inputs? Is it VGA or NTSC/PAL?

My buddy with a WRX has been looking for one of these.
        Thanks,

          Ahahahahahaha no.

The top thing with the latch is totally removeable. A lot of WRX (the model I don't have) owners have put their LCDs in the din space and have mounted their head units in their dashboard pocket ontop. I would do that but I am using both din pockets for other things (not pictured).
