Can you tell me if you have this unit and are utilizing the optical digital input. Is the optical digital input proprietary connectors or not. I am thinking about getting one but can't tell if this is the case. It also has prologic II

Hello there, I just ordered Clarion dvh920 cause it was almost $150 less than dvh940 model. According to what I read, you should be able to control most from the unit itself. If you need to see visually then dvc920 external controller is required. I am trying to find a cheapest price for that. So far it's $79.88.
The unit is suppose to use standard optical connection for inputs. I found clarion had the best unit when it came to surround sound. Others only worked with their "own" head units.
So I hope that helped answer some of your questions.

      Isaac.
