Im going to purchase a tv - out card. I have an old tv with only coax input. Tv out is Svideo I think , how do I convert svideo to coax.

Get an RF modulator, its like 15 bucks online or slightly more expensive at radioshack. You just plug the Video into the box, and then connect a coax cable between the box and tv. Quality is degraded, though I know of no other way of doing it.

If you feel up to some hacking, RF modulators are also easily removed from VCRs and reused...

The card I bought has an RCA out and an SVideo. It only cost me 15 dollars too. I admit it isnt the BEST video card in the world but it ran my LCD perfectly. It's a Trident.
