  • diiference on m10k boards?

    Hey,

    I've been googling, etc...

What is the difference between the just regular M10K and the M10000N?

    Couldn't find any difference?

    Anyone?

    Peace,

    Rafster

I beleive what you are seeing is the M10000N is the Nehemiah processor board and the one refered to as M10K (or M10000) would probably be the same thing, or possibly the older Erza (or something like that) processwor based board.

I think the only M10000 board you can by now, or for the last 6 months is Nehemiah based.

      Thanks,

That is what I had guessed it was that. Either that or it was the one with 2 network cards (hence the N) but I guess that the nehmiah makes more sense.

Well I don't know about the Green Box. but I got my M10000 about two months ago and it came in a Blue Box with M-series on it..... So it ain't new....

I would guess the difference is that China finally ran out of Yellow ink..... (blue plus yellow makes green)......

what im saying is that the green box doesnt have M - series written on it, do i need to take a picture. Does anyone know the actual difference in the boards, not that it matters all that much

I was at Fry's this afternoon and they had the Green Box M10000 and board wise it looked identical to my Blue Box M10000 board.... now ofcourse I didn't compair chip numbers and such, but from a visual, I saw absolutely no differerence between what comes in the Blue M-Series box and what comes in the Green box....

I hope that helps ease you mind....
