  • Upside Down Epia?

I am currently designing a custom case to mount an epia board in my glove compartment. I found that what would work the best would be to mount the Epia board upside down fixed to an aluminium plate. Do you guys think there would be any overheating issues with mounting it upside down?
    Thanks

My EPIA 5000 is mounted upside down in an old cd changer case in my trunk. It's been working great for 6 months, no problems.

i wouldnt think that there would be a problem with heat...so long as there is some sort of ventilation. i've ran my m10000 for a few days straight and it only got to 85F with only the heatsink fan and a 40mm case fan

I just made a case from 1/8" acrylic (plexiglass) and plan on mounting the M10000 upside down. This case is custom fit to my glove box. I am looking around to find out if other's have had heat issues. Thinking about putting a couple of 30mm or 40mm fans in the back of the glove box for ventilation...

Mine has been mounted upside down for a good 6 months. No problems. I've run the temp monitors on it and it rarely exceeds 100F.
