  • CPU vs. Video Card

Which of the two really comes in to play when I have fast intense graphics going across the screen, CPU or Video Card or something else. I want them smooth, fast and not choppy when I run geiss.

    Thanks,
    Trey

A decnt video card should be fine. I mean, you dont need a geforce 2 or anthing. I think the best thing to have is cpu power and more impotantly RAM. Tons of ram = good =)

i recently bought an athlon 1 ghz bare bones kit off ebay, and it came with a geforce 2mx.

Looks like i'll be able to play unreal tourny/soldier of fortune if i ever have to wait anywhere...
