TomTom Navigator is hands down the best navigation software I have used. Better than anything I've seen on the x86 PC platform.

TomTom is great for Europe, not very good reviews for the US version.

Best ones for the US are based on intellinav Version 2 (Routis, iGuidance, PymeNav) all are the same, except for visual differences (buttons, colors, etc)

                Check out http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?group=2

Lots of info on software and hardware.

I have an iPaq 2210 with a Belkin Bluetooth GPS receiver. If you can find a coupon for Belkin (I found a 50% off one) and got the receiver and software for $150, then they increased to price to $400. But with the coupon, 200 isn't bad.

For the US Routis - for $80 you get the PC and PocketPC versions.
