You forgot the MII-12000. Thats the one I went with because it had the fastest CPU clock speed and PMCIA/CF onboard.

I second the MII. I have the MII10000 and I'm very happy with it. Much easier to do a wi-fi card instead of a usb version.

If you want a VIA board i would wait until the EPIA-SP comes out. It will perform a lot better than any previous one, plus it has SATA and DDR400 support.

But if you can't wait, i would by a MII.

I used to have a M10000, but upgraded to a AMD based microATX mobo. Mainly becuase i require more grunt for games and it works out cheaper.
We are, will have and forever will be...
            But not tommorrow!

                Get a non-VIA board then.

Other ones are noisy because they need a lot of cooling

Depends on what fan you get. They don't need more than a standard heatsink/fan. There are plenty of heatsinks/fans out there that are quite, just check the db rating. Plus if you have it in your trunk you will never hear it anyways.

I'm shoving mine behind the LCD, so it will always be in the cabin. I need something that will be quiet. The EPIa fans are always quiet, but you can also undervolt them even more And they don't take up a huge ammount of space like coolers for AMD/Intel ones.

panaflow fans rock .... search for a local company called bigfootcomputers.

So far it seems that this is the best option. I can only buy whats on the list above:

                        MB-P3-VIA-E-M2-10K VIA CLE W/C3 1G EDEN VGA/S-vid/LAN/AUD MII 10000.

Does anyone see a better option on that list?

                              New Via Boards

Anyone hear when the SP and other new boards are due to come out? I keep seeing references to September but I also have read that they are notoriuosly late. Anyone have any updates?

                              Thanks
