I know ages ago, I bought a Hoontech digital NX sound card direct from Hoontech in Korea when they were the next best thing to the early Soundblaster Live (without the driver issues), and it was only £38 shipped from Korea via Korean business post.
And it worked really well, still have it ready to go into a linux box I plan to build from my old BP6, when I get round to it. It is fully supported by Linux using ALSA drivers.
But you are still better off buying stuff here in the states....when i was over there every piece of electronics was higher. I went to the biggest electronic market in seoul (E-mart in yongsan). This place is a few square blocks of street vendors and established stores....but the only thing i could actually find a good deal on was bootleg movies.
