  • XBOX to Run OSX

Found this article with links to the sites about it:

    http://macobserver.com/article/2004/10/07.8.shtml

Interesting, but no real world testing opinions on how slow the emulation of OSX really is. SO maybe its a cheap alternative to putting a G4 in a car but then again it may run so slow there is no point.

I just like the idea of running Linux or OSX... basically anything but Windows on something with a Microsoft logo on it.

Linux runs on it. You need a modchip to do it though. You can google, or even go to techtv.com for articles on how to do it. There is a *huge* xbox modding community.

Maybe they are emulating the speed of a mac?? J/K, noone kill me ok? Lol.

People have been running linux for some time now which is cool.

If you are looking @ mods and stuff for Xbox check out XBox Mod Scene and their forums. Theres alot of people there that will help getting linux to run and stuff. But alot of the stuff you can do requires a mod chip.
