  • shutdown?

This may sound very stupid to some of you. How does the shutdown controller work in the Opus power supply. What i dont understand and couldnt really find anything about when I searched. Is what happens when i turn the car off, turn the car on ect. Run in to the store for like 2 minuets ect?

The Opus is connected to the battery for main power, to a 12v+ ACC/IGN for sensing ingnition and a ground. When you start your car, it senses the ACC/IGN and it sends a signal to the computer to boot up or come out of hibernation/standby just like you were pressing the PWR button. It boots up and runs. When you turn the car off it will no longer sense the ACC/IGN and send a signal to the computer to shut down/hibernate/standby. It's pretty slick. Go to opussolutions.com and read up on it and do a search here. There's tons of info on this subject. Hope this helps you out some.

      I don't understand your question.
There are different jumper settings on the Opus 90W. I've got mine set at 10 minutes. When the ignition (blue) stops seing juice for 10 minutes it shuts down. If within the 10 miunutes I get back in the car, the unit stays on.
      Does this answer your question?
