  • Harddisk Trouble??

I have see many people have trouble with hard disk in there car.

Im thinking about all the vibration from the sub. ?? What happen with the small plate in the hard disk with all the vibration..

Try to put your hand on the hard disk when you play high, if you can feel some thing, you maybe have an explanation if your hard disk gone defect

The solution is to hang up your hard disk in rubbing to get less vibration to your hard disk or use a 2 inch hard disk, it is build to handle more vibration.
    Plan for project = 100%

    Install ...............= 99% -50%

Do some research, This has been covered in detail.

A serach on 'Hard drive mount'

The short answer is do mount the drive firmly to a hard surface and use a desktop drive as they are less expensive.

Also covered is the magnetic field from the magnets, the general consensus is do not worry about it either.

I don't know. I do know this though, laptop drives are not built for vibration either.

Maybe 2 inch disk not direct build to handle vibration, both it can handle more vibration than a 3 desktop hard disk
