Ok just would like an opinion on this :

    AMD Duron 1.8 GHz

will this be compitible with my OPUS 150 ?

Im trying to decide wether this or the VIA EPIA M II 120000

sorry to keep posting threads like this asking for opinions

It'll be compatible, but I think you have to buy directly from opus and tell them you have that model motherboard. I think they have to modify the Opus before it will work with it.

Have you considered the Asus A7N8X-VM. It's a really good board, I think a little more expensive than the Biostar, but it works with the opus. You won't have any problems with the processor unless you going to be using the mobile athlon, which needs the 'wire mod' to get the correct speed, but it will use less power than other processors. Plus with this board you can get 800x480 resolution with the onboard graphics.

Ok well that board looks nice .. The Mobile athalon seems like a good solution but Im not that knowledgable about overclocking and moding the processor...

so the Asus A7N8X-VM + the AMD Duron 1.8 GHz u think is ok (how many watts)

basically I want sumthing more powerful then the VIA but I may just go with the VIA because I dont know enough about this "wire mod" that is needed

You won't need the wire mod unless you're going to use a mobile athlon processor.

Well, you can sell your Opus and buy a new one that's compatible with the Biostar. I'm sure you can get almost as much as you paid for it.

Looks good to me, I'm pretty sure you'll like it. If you really want to go with the mobile athlon you can, the wire mod is no really hard, its pretty simple actually. You can run the mobile athlon without the wire mod as well, it just that it runs at a much lower speed. You can look at this thread and get a better idea of the mod you would have to do.

Then again if you don't want to hassel with doing any modification, you could always contact Opus and see if they can correct the problem in your current power supply to work with the Biostar board. I don't think they would charge you much.
