  • Hard drive Selection Help

Hey guys, I am building a car pc and this is the board I am going with

BIOSTAR "M7NCG 400" nForce2 IGP Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU -RETAIL
AMD Mobile Athlon XP 2400+, 266 MHz FSB, 512K L2 Cache Processor, 35 Watt-

I am trying to figure out what hard drive I am putting with it, I really wanna go with a 2.5", I want about 40GB and was thinking about this one

    What do you guys think?

    Any others you could suggest?

I just went with an 7200RPM with 8mb cache. That will cover any processing *most* people will do with a car PC. Loads full mp3 into cache so no real waiting foranything but maybe full ripped DVDs.

If you want a really nice laptop drive, I would highly recomend the toshiba drive. Mine works excellent, its very fast and has a 16mb cache. the 40gb is around $85 and the 60gb roughly $130.

Btw...your linkie goes to micro$haft. Weird!
