On my head unit..when I hit source to change to Aux-In, it says Aux-In. I would like it to say mp3 player or something of the like. Anyone found a way to hack this unit to do something like that? Its not that big of a deal, but it would be cool.
    Thanks

My best advice is to read through the manual. I found a way to do it on my pioneer, but I don't know about the panasonics.

      I did that.
Doesn't seem possible, but thought there might be a way that isn't in the manual.

        *shrug*

If it's not in the manual it probably can't be done

Yeh, Its great. Great sound quality and it looks good too. Chicks love it.
"ooh! your CD player is all pretty!!"
I really like the simulated surround sound thing too..It works really well.
Just so you know, the DQ-FX99 does not have an internal amp (you need an external amp) so make sure your model #s are right.
