  • Troubleshooting harddrive

I have a toshiba 2.5 inch notebook drive that has suddenly stopped working! The BIOS doesn't see it at all. Is there any way I can troubleshoot this? I've never had a drive just stop working like this. My system is still in the building process and was working before, but I haven't touched it in a while. I'm not very hopeful for a solution, but I thought I would check here before I start looking into sending it in to Toshiba. Thanks!

i have this issue at least once a month with servers that are cranking 24/7. The main issue is the controller board on the drive is dead.
