  • Need quick measurement on M10000 board

If anyone can help out, just need a quick measurement on the M10000 board...

    - The specs say 17cm x 17cm, can anyone give me an exact measurement?

    - Also, how far does the monitor input stick out off the board?

    Thanks,

    Matt

sorry, don't have the exact measurements offhand, but i remember it was pretty close to spec. One thing you WILL have to account for is the size of your cables coming off the board. If your monitor or USB cable headers are long (which they most likely will be), they're gonna cause you problems when doing the install. I had this problem when I was mounting my box; i didn't account for the monitor and serial cables to stick out so much.

The monitor d-sub input sticks out about 1 cm from the edge of the board.

Check out my sig for some images.

    Best of luck.

Yep, 17cm x 17cm x (approximately height of your RAM)...

This is the most important when fabbing your own case.
