  • Which route should i go?

i just made a few purchases and now unsure which route to go. first i bought:
opus 150w, in dash touchscreen from digitalwww, gps reciever, slim dvd drive.

    i have a P3 500hz, 256 ram desktop compter AND
    P4 2.8hz dell dimension 4600 with 768 ddr ram, ati radeon 9800xt with 128.

do you think my p4 is too much power for the opus 150w?
if so, i was thinking of taking out one memory stick making it 512 and also taking the video card out and using the onboard card.

or, should i try and use two PSUs? and help with be great if this is the route i should take.

    thanks for any help guys.

It's entirely up to you. Your the system designer here, think about what your going to be doing with the machine. Playing media such as DVD's Mp3's and CD's really doesnt need a poewrful machine. Playing Video games, have a few applications open at the same time those kinds of things require a better performing machine.

      Hope this helps !

i decided that im going with the p4 2.8 but unsure if a opus 150 will be enough.
anyone know the limitations of the opus 150?

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
