  • EPIA MII-10K clock/date frozen when powered off??

I've been having a problem with the time and date on my car PC. In a nutshell the time and date "freeze" while the PC is shut off. Is this something as simple as a dead battery on the mobo? In my experience a dead battery causes the BIOS info to be lost, resetting the date back to 1980, or something like that. I've never seen a computer clock freeze before.

Recently I disabled the stand-by voltage on my OPUS. Maybe that's part of the problem? Any other ideas?

By the way, I'm using an EPIA MII-10K.

You could try changing the battery. It wouldn't be hard at least to eliminate it.
Its not the cards you're dealt, its how you play the hand!
