  • New VIA with built-in DC-DC Power Supply

Here's a quote from tech lounge's CES coverage:

"The TC-Series integrates a 12V DC-DC converter, horizontal SO-DIMM as well as CompactFlash and CardBus slots. The onboard power supply cranks out 60 watts of power, which is plenty for most systems built around a mini-ITX board."

Looks like this will be the way to go in the future.

The TC has been around for a while now. The onboard PSU still requires a regulated input 11.4V-12.6V.
