  • Leaky Capacitors on MOBO/where to get?

I have a gigabyte mobo I use for back up, and just noticed that it's got some swollen caps. they say "Choyo 3300uf 6.3v" where would I get something like that?

thanks for any help you can provide.

try jameco.com or digikey.com, unless you are an expert replacing anything on a newer motherboard is almost impossible. if the motherboard still works, i would worry about it

If you see a few, you probably have more that are marginal. Get the kit and you can swap them all out pre-emptively.

The capacitor problem is the sort of thing that causes weird intermittent behavior. There's no sense in ignoring it.
