  • USB 3 and 4 on EPIA

Were any of you able to connect USB ports 3 and 4 of your EPIA MII mobo's? I connected everything ok but the ports don't work. I first thought it would be a driver problem, but silly me, the ports don't even have power.

Could it be that if the controller is not installed properly, that the ports don't even get power?

Could it be that I have to set some jumpers to enable those ports?

Silly question but did you connect the header to some USB connectors?

Ok, I'll try to see if my connectors use the same schematics as on the mini-itx site. Allthough you would think that they have the right pinouts when you use cables specificly for that purpose.

Silly question indeed . Yes I did connect them and the cable is key coded so I couldn't have made a mistake.

Heyhey I did it. Found out that the wiring of the case wasn't fully plugged in. Redid all the wiring and it works like a charm. Two extra USB ports for free, sweet.
