Just plug a USB extension into the end on teh bracket.
Either that or do some splicing.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Do some splicing, keep in mind the max length of a USB 1.1 card should not be much longer than 10ft or 15ft for a usb 2.0. Any longer may cause undesired functionality of your devices.
You can still have something if you have nothing

also, it's a little sketchy splicing usb... the ground wire usually turns into the shielding for the cable. I tried splicing just running four wires and my usb stuff freaked out on me...

if you can solder and crimp half-way decently you could do this...

            a couple of these...

            some of these...
            http://jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...oductId=100765

            one of these...
            http://jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...roductId=53495

some shielded cable and heat shrink tubing... you could have an extension in an afternoon.
