  • Cheapest VIA EPIA M10000

Well, it seems like everyone is really happy with their VIA EPIA M10000 or whatever they are (I can never remember ) which is awesome, and now I want one too.

I'm looking at building a dedicated carputer instead of using my laptop (which I have been doing for less than a single day) and was trying to find an inexpensive place to buy one.

I'm finding about $150 to be the cheapest to get one, with the Nehemiah 1 GHz processor.

    http://www.logicsupply.com/product_i...products_id=32

    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-E-M1GNE&src=fr

Those are just a few sites I found in the $150-$160 price range.

Does anyone know of anyplace cheaper? Possibly eBay, or the Classifieds on the site.

Nice, good price. Too bad they don't seem to have any RAM, drives, or anything else to compliment it. It would be nice to get everything from one place, save on shipping, and ahve everything arrive at once.

Well, if you dont mind downgrading just a tiiiiny bit:

          VIA Mini-ITX EPIA V10000A
Uses the same 1.0GHz processor as the M10000
Doesn't have tvout/s-video (but is apparently optional)
It has SDRAM(PC133) instead of DDR, and 2 slots at that instead of 1

Its the one i'm using and I got it on ebay for $99.99 USD.

Here is the store I got it at:
          http://stores.ebay.com/KOONLINE_W0QQssPageNameZl4QQtZkm

He has another one in stock for the same price. I don't actually have it in my car yet, but Its in here and runs divx and WMP fine, along with some other apps I've tried.

Well that is not counting the $15-25 shipping for the M, so you would save anywhere from 40 - 50 dollars. And besides, he said he was looking for the cheapest, so let him decide its not up to you.

And for the record, yes I do have full screen DVD.
