  • MBM wrong temp

    Hi,

I have an MSI 6368 board, and MBM5 is telling me I'm at 127*!
Can anyone suggest another monitor or if anyone knows this board, what other board to tell MBM it is?

    is that in fahrenheit?

because my cpu runs around 45* Celsius in the car, which is around 113* F

woah its reading 127* celsius?? wow... well u can adjust what the sensor the program reads from manually in mbm, which i had to switch my cpu and "case" sensor in mbm, cause my board wasnt in there list and they were backwards... and i say case in quotes because it says its noemally 60* celsius, and that cant be possible, so idk what temp its reading

Cool. So, any advice for the 6368 board? Swap the sensors around?

mayeb i mean go in there and what i did was, change the sensor its reading from one by one, while i had a thermometer shoved inside my cpus heatsynk so i just waited til i found a sensor saying a number close to what the thermometer said

Lol. It was sensor two. God knows where sensor one is, but that's 127*!
I've a 4-fan variable speed kit, and with the fan in psycho mode, it gets 20*, but more relaxed (and inaudible) 25*. Do you know if I can get the temp from inside the touchscreen anyway?

only way i can think of is to mount a sensor yourself... because as far as i know they do not have temp sensors inside them, but i could be wrong on that.... oh and if you ever figure out what sensor one is on your board please let me know because it sounds like you have the same sensors on your board as mine, because sensor one for me is normally almost double the cpu temp in celsius
